The plain Friesland is situated in the northeast of East Friesland between Jever and the Jadebusen. It offers 250 kilometers of Friesian bicycle paths for people who especially estimate the wide view of the plain. Come to know the attractive, varied home of the Friesian people: from the North Sea coast to the lush green landlocked country, past the national park of the Niedersächsische Wattenmeer (mudflats), through the Neuenburger primeval forest, natural marsh regions, Geest (coastal sandy heath land) and fen back to the dike!
On the way there are many jewels to be discovered. Brick churches from the middle Ages, fully operative windmills, the water castle of Gödens, built in the style of Dutch Renaissance, lively sea-side resorts and historical villages are all on your route.
