International Dollard Route - Two countries, one big cycling experience (6 days)

The "International Dallard Route" is very special in twofold respects: It connects the route across the border, running from the German Rheiderland to the Dutch Reiderland, but it also invites you to cross the "Dollart" bay via a fairy. Experience the charming landscape, inhale fresh sea air and drive past old churches, wind-scathed alleyways or right past a dyke, beyond which the Ems leads to the North Sea.

After crossing the Dutch border, you will be treated to an open moor landscape, with typical Dutch-style pompous cottages.
You'll almost breathe the Middle Ages in the Dutch Appingedam, particularly interesting thanks to its historical buildings. If you ever wanted to see the lively seaport, the Dollard Route is just the thing for you: Experience the marine flair in the Dutch Delfzijl and in the German town of Emden.
